Grand Prix Finals (December 6 – 9)

Dream team of Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue unwilling to settle for 2nd at this year's Grand Prix Finals in Sochi, Moscow. After taking home the silver medal on home soil in the 2011 Grand Prix Finals, the pair are more determined than ever to capture the gold.

"We're a different team," Moir said. "Last year, we were kind of out to prove we were back and finally healthy, and while that was true, we were trying too hard. It kind of worked against us"

Skate Canada Champions Visit Parliament Hill (November 20)

On November 20, 2012, Olympic Champions Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir, Olympic bronze medalist Joannie Rochette and two-time World Champion Patrick Chan visited Parliament Hill and received recognition in the Senate for their recent achievements.
